Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough comes together. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  4. In another bowl, mix the apples, lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into squares.
