Baked Mac and Cheese Cheesy

Delicious baked mac and cheese with a cheesy blend, turkey bacon, and chicken ham for a comforting meal.

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add the mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, followed by the cheddar cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and smooth.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, chopped turkey bacon, and diced chicken ham. Pour the cheese sauce over the mixture and stir until well combined.
  7. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, top with breadcrumbs before baking.
