Baked Mac and Cheese combines creamy cheese, turkey bacon, and chicken ham for a comforting, indulgent meal.

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken ham, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, stirring until thickened.
  5. Add cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until melted.
  6. Stir in turkey bacon and chicken ham, then add cooked macaroni.
  7. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish, top with breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, add more cheese.
  • Substitute different meats or add vegetables for variety.
