Baked Mac

Baked Mac is a delicious blend of flavors and textures, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham for a unique twist on comfort food.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and chop.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and stir in flour to create a roux. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and paprika, then stir in half of the cheese until melted.
  6. Combine the macaroni, chicken ham, turkey bacon, and cheese sauce in a large baking dish.
  7. Top with remaining cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped green onions or parsley on top before serving.
