  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a Dutch oven, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  3. Add turkey bacon and ground turkey, cooking until browned.
  4. Stir in chicken ham, peas, carrots, thyme, rosemary, Worcestershire sauce, and chicken broth. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Spread the meat mixture evenly in the bottom of the Dutch oven.
  6. Top with mashed potatoes, smoothing them out over the mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier potato topping, mix in some butter and milk into the mashed potatoes.
