Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls

These Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls are the perfect sweet treat to celebrate fall.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm, then add to the dry ingredients along with the egg.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough and spread caramel sauce, then sprinkle with diced apples.
  5. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  6. Place rolls in a greased pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.
