- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
- In the same skillet, add ground turkey, onion, and garlic. Cook until the turkey is browned.
- Add frozen mixed vegetables, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the turkey mixture to a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated when ready to serve.
