  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add ground turkey, onion, and garlic. Cook until the turkey is browned.
  4. Add frozen mixed vegetables, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer the turkey mixture to a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated when ready to serve.
