Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu

A deliciously rich and flavorful twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring the sweet taste of cherries and the distinct essence of amaretto.

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 2 cups cherry pie filling
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. In another bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, amaretto, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Dip the ladyfinger cookies into the cherry pie filling and layer them in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat the layers using the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

  • For an added touch, garnish with additional cherry pie filling before serving.
  • Make sure to use fresh or quality cherries for the best flavor.
