  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 2 pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk. Stir until the mixture thickens.
  5. Add the chicken, peas and carrots, salt, pepper, and celery seed.
  6. Fill the pie crust with the mixture and cover with the second crust. Seal the edges.
