  • 1 tablespoon espresso powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Add baking soda and salt, then mix in the flour, cocoa powder, and espresso powder until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
