  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine apples, cinnamon, sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  4. Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet.
  5. Arrange the apple mixture in the center of the pie crust, leaving space at the edges.
  6. Fold the edges of the crust over the apples.
  7. Brush the crust with the egg wash and dot the filling with butter.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender and crust is golden.
