  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of warm milk with sugar and yeast. Let it sit until foamy.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread butter, and sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar on top. Roll into a log.
  6. Place in a greased loaf pan and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of white.
  • Serve with butter or cream cheese.
