Creamy Corn Chowder

A comforting and creamy corn chowder made with turkey bacon, perfect for chilly days.

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon and sauté onions and garlic in the bacon fat until translucent.
  3. Add fresh corn and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook for additional 5 minutes.
  5. Crumble the bacon and stir back into the chowder before serving.
