Creamy Mac and Cheese

A deliciously creamy mac and cheese recipe with turkey bacon and chicken ham that the whole family will love.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in flour to create a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until the sauce thickens.
  5. Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, and chicken ham to the cheese sauce and mix well.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
