  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
  3. Place the soaked bread slices on a greased baking dish.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Bake the French toast for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the crème brûlée effect, sprinkle sugar on top of the baked French toast and use a torch to caramelize the sugar.
