Crock Pot Chicken Pot Pie

A delicious twist on the classic chicken pot pie, made easy with the slow cooker and turkey bacon for added flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the chicken, turkey bacon, peas, carrots, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion powder, garlic powder, and thyme.
  2. Stir to combine and cover the slow cooker.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, layer the pie crust over the mixture and bake according to package instructions.
