Delicious Grandma’s Thanksgiving Stuffing Recipe

Enjoy a classic Thanksgiving stuffing recipe that’s full of flavor and made with turkey bacon for a lighter twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf bread, cubed
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add celery and onion to the skillet and cook until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, turkey bacon, cooked celery and onion, chicken broth, and seasonings.
  5. Mix well and transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped fresh herbs.
  • Can be made a day in advance and baked before serving.
