  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples with sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour.
  3. Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust and dot with butter.
  4. Cover with another layer of crust, seal the edges, and make slits on top.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 30 to 35 minutes.
