Easy Beef Stroganoff

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the beef slices and cook until browned.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bring to a simmer.
  6. Dissolve flour in sour cream and add to the skillet; mix well.
  7. Cook until the sauce thickens, then stir in the turkey bacon.
  8. Serve over egg noodles or rice as desired.

Notes

  • For a creamier sauce, add more sour cream.
  • Pair with crusty bread for a complete meal.
