Easy One Hour Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk and melted butter; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Spread melted butter on the dough, sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  8. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and vanilla extract with a little milk.
  9. Drizzle the glaze over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • Rolls are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
