EXTRA CREAMY CLASSIC MAC

An indulgently creamy mac and cheese with turkey bacon for the perfect comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and add in the heavy cream and milk.
  4. Stir in the garlic powder and paprika, then add the shredded cheese, mixing until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine the macaroni and cheese sauce, adding crumbled turkey bacon. Stir well.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • This recipe can be adjusted for more or less creaminess by adding more or less heavy cream.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or peas for extra nutrition.
