Halloween Cauldron Cookie Creation

Create festive Halloween cauldron cookies that are both spooky and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup green candy melts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cookies cool before decorating with green candy melts.

Notes

  • For extra spookiness, use edible googly eyes on top of the cookies.
  • These cookies can be customized with different colors of candy melts.
