Hot Honey Brown Butter Brussels Sprouts

Deliciously roasted Brussels sprouts enhanced with brown butter, hot honey, and crispy turkey bacon give a delightful twist to a classic side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it and set it aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns brown.
  5. Add the Brussels sprouts to a baking sheet, drizzle with brown butter and season with salt and pepper, then toss to coat.
  6. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until tender and caramelized.
  7. Once out of the oven, drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle crumbled turkey bacon on top before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add extra hot honey.
  • You can substitute regular bacon for turkey bacon if preferred.
