- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat and brown the roast on all sides.
- In a large pot, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, onion, and ginger.
