- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 pound turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
