  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the russet potatoes.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
  4. Slowly whisk in the chicken broth, followed by the heavy cream.
