A delightful twist on classic mac and cheese featuring creamy textures, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, cook turkey bacon until crispy; remove and chop.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and whisk in flour.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted, then add salt, pepper, and paprika.
  6. Combine macaroni, chicken ham, and turkey bacon; mix with cheese sauce.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder or onion powder to the cheese sauce.
