  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy; remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute, then gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until thickened.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni, crumbled bacon, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder; mix well.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
