Marlborough Pie

A delicious twist on traditional Marlborough pie featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 200g turkey bacon
  • 200g chicken ham
  • 300g puff pastry
  • 100g grated cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 50ml cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic in a pan until softened.
  3. Add turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until golden.
  4. Mix cream, egg, and thyme in a bowl.
  5. Roll out the puff pastry and line the pie dish.
  6. Fill with meat mixture and pour over the cream mix.
  7. Top with grated cheese and seal the pastry edges.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For an extra twist, add your favorite vegetables.
  • Best served warm with a side salad.
