A rich and creamy potato soup recipe inspired by Outback’s menu, featuring turkey bacon for a healthier twist.

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add onions to the pot and sauté until translucent.
  3. Peel and dice the potatoes, then add them to the pot along with chicken broth.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Use an immersion blender to puree the soup to desired consistency.
  7. Serve hot, topped with crispy turkey bacon and shredded cheese.
