Poblano Smoked Gouda Mac

A creamy and indulgent macaroni dish featuring the smoky flavor of gouda and the kick of poblano peppers.

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 2 poblano peppers, diced
  • 1 cup smoked gouda, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté diced poblano peppers until soft.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet along with the cream, smoked gouda, turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix thoroughly and transfer to a baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
  • Feel free to adjust the amount of poblano peppers to your spice preference.
