  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20 minutes, or until browned.
  5. In a large skillet, add red wine and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the baked meatballs to the skillet and pour marinara sauce over them.
  7. Simmer for 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
