Sausage Rolls

Delicious and savory sausage rolls made with beef and turkey bacon, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy, then add the onion and garlic, cooking until translucent.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cooked turkey bacon mixture with ground beef, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into rectangles.
  5. Place the filling on one side of each rectangle, fold over and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
  • These can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
