  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 rice paper wrappers

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Thai basil leaves, soy sauce, fish sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  2. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water for about 10 seconds until soft.
  3. Lay a rice paper wrapper flat and place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center.
  4. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly, starting from the bottom.
  5. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  6. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a bit of oil and cook the rolls until browned on all sides.
  7. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
