  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 out of 2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Add mixed vegetables, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer the turkey mixture, followed by mashed potatoes on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier topping, add a splash of milk to the mashed potatoes.
  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey with ground beef or lamb for a more traditional flavor.
