A delicious and comforting Shepherd’s Pie made with turkey bacon.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop.
  3. In the same pan, cook ground turkey until browned.
  4. Add peas, carrots, and seasonings; stir well.
  5. Combine with the turkey bacon and place mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Top with mashed potatoes and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a creamier topping, mix in some cheese with mashed potatoes.
