- 2 cups water
- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice until the water runs clear, then combine with water in a rice cooker and cook.
- Once the rice is cooked, let it cool slightly before mixing in the rice vinegar.
- Place the salmon on a baking dish and brush with soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil before baking for 15-20 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the cooked salmon once it is flaky.
- Layer the sushi rice in the bottom of a baking dish, add the salmon mixture on top, and sprinkle with green onions and nori strips.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes, then let cool slightly.
