  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion soup mix, and milk. Form into patties.
  2. Brown the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes on each side.
  3. Transfer the patties to the slow cooker.
  4. In the same skillet, add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, onions, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer, then pour over the patties in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice.
