Thai Basil Beef Rolls

These Thai Basil Beef Rolls are a delicious way to enjoy fresh ingredients and bold flavors in a simple, easy-to-make dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 package rice paper wrappers
  • 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cucumber, julienned

Instructions

  1. In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
  2. Add garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar to the beef, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
  4. Place a small amount of the beef mixture, noodles, carrot, cucumber, and basil on the wrapper and roll tightly.
  5. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  6. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

  • These rolls can be made ahead of time and served cold or warm.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables or proteins as desired.
