- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 package rice paper wrappers
- 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cucumber, julienned
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar to the beef, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Soak rice paper wrappers in warm water until soft.
- Place a small amount of the beef mixture, noodles, carrot, cucumber, and basil on the wrapper and roll tightly.
- Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Serve with dipping sauce of your choice.
