Tini’s Mac and Cheese combines creamy, cheesy goodness with the savory delight of turkey bacon for a dish that’s both comforting and indulgent.

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  3. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, and add the garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked macaroni and crumbled turkey bacon, mixing until well combined.
  7. Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
