Turtle Cheesecake

A rich, decadent turtle cheesecake that combines the flavors of chocolate, caramel, and pecans.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in sour cream, chocolate chips, and half of the caramel sauce.
  6. Pour the cheesecake batter over the crust in the springform pan.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Let it cool, then drizzle the remaining caramel sauce and sprinkle pecans on top.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
  • Allow the cheesecake to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving for better slicing.
