A decadent dessert that perfectly combines the rich flavors of brown butter cookies and chocolate brownies.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar; mix well.
  5. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  6. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  8. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

Notes

  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • For extra indulgence, drizzle melted chocolate on top before serving.
